Xia Anshi Scholarship SANHUA Award Ceremony 2022 was Held in Tianjin
On the afternoon of Aug 6, 2022, the 26th Xia Anshi Scholarship SANHUA Award Ceremony was held in Tianjin, near the beautiful shore of the Bohai Sea. A total of 12 undergraduate students, 4 graduate students and 1 teacher from 13 well-known universities across the country respectively won the \"Outstanding Student Award\" and the \"Outstanding Professor Award\".
In the award ceremony, there were leaders, experts and scholars from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai Society of Refrigeration, Shanghai Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Institute and Xia Anshi Education Foundation, including Wang Liwei, Huang Yonghua, Gong Qingwei, Wang Ruzhu. Other attendants included Tao Chunxing, Zhang Rongrong, Wu Yungang and other leaders of Sanhua Holding Group, as well as nearly 200 experts, scholars, teachers and students from different colleges and universities.
Professor Wang Ruzhu, Chairman of Xia Anshi Education Foundation and Director of the Institute of Refrigeration and Cryogenics in Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Professor Wang Liwei, Director of the Education Development Center in Shanghai Jiao Tong University, respectively delivered speeches, and introduced the establishment and development of the Xia Anshi Scholarship, reviewed the wonderful moments in previous ceremonies, the representatives of student winners and outstanding professors who have achieved outstanding results in the past, and thanked enterprises like Sanhua that supported the development of refrigeration education and professional talents.
Tao Chunxing, Director of Human Resources in Sanhua Holding Group, delivered a speech and introduced Sanhua’s concept for development, \"Flower of Talents\", which consisted of \"global development platform + fair and efficient incentive mechanism + open and innovative corporate culture\". He warmly invited everyone to join Sanhua to realize their own pursuit and dreams, and showed hopes that there would be more cooperation with universities to contribute to \"green environmental protection\".
Wang Liwei, Wang Ruzhu, Director Tao, and Zhang Rongrong presented \"Outstanding Professor Award\" and \"Outstanding Student Award\" for winners.
It takes ten years to grow trees and a hundred years to nurture talents. Xia Anshi Scholarship has become a special award for the best students and teachers majoring in refrigeration and air conditioning in China. Since 1997, Xia Anshi Scholarship has been funded each year, and the 26th Xia Anshi Scholarship SANHUA Award Ceremony was successfully held in 2022. So far, prize winners included a total of 240 undergraduates, 28 graduate students, 63 PhD students and 31 professors from 13 universities all over China. Teachers awarded \"Outstanding Professor Award\" were Professor Wu Jingyi of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Professor Lin Borong of Tsinghua University. In the future, they were the cornerstone for talent development in China\'s refrigeration industry. Since 2019, Sanhua Holding Group has funded the Xia Anshi Education Foundation to assign scholarship and hold teaching activities for four consecutive years, to reward outstanding professors and students in China\'s refrigeration industry and contribute to the development of the refrigeration industry.
After the award ceremony, two speeches delivered by Chen Guanyi, president of Tianjin University of Commerce and the speech of Director Tao, and there were a party and a banquet at \"Sanhua Night\". Sanhua provided a platform for professors, experts, and young talents from afar for a happy gathering, to communicate with each other, which promoted exchanges and development in China\'s refrigeration industry.
